“Our Stay @ Bright River Rest was awesome the property is very private & has a beautiful calm feel about it the grounds have little areas to get away on your own while still having the full site of the pool area. BBQ area is a great spot to hold all you get togethers. Pool is a nice little extra to have is clean , fully fenced & very well looked after. The house sleeps 12 people but also very private we had 10 people & at no time did we feel like we were on top of each other. Kitchen was great & well stock with everything that was needed. Beds were very clean & comfortable. And our host Pricilla was quick to respond & gave us complete privacy. There is direct access to the bike trail into the city centre & is a beautiful walk around 2 Klm’s & would be perfect if you were cycling. I would have no hesitation in recommending river rest to couples , families & friends stays , it has something for everyone." Wendy. March 2018
"Wow. What a great place to stay. Beautiful comfortable house, close to town but not in the hustle and bustle. Right on the rail trail and backing onto the wonderful Ovens River. Sleeping for three couple and a big bunk room, plus lounge and dining with two open fires and a great kitchen. Set amongst beautiful temperate gardens with a sparkling pool. We were six lovely friends, all mothers of a beautiful bunch of now young men. We have laughed,chatted, drunk, eaten, laughed, cried and rekindled a wonderful friendship.
